Abstract

This study presents the idea of Islamic bonds as an important new financing instrument in Islamic economic and explains the potential role of Islamic bonds in covering the public budget deficit. The study examined the subject and through a review of the experience of Sudan, which revealed the important role that can be played by Islamic financial products in the financing of the budget deficit of the state.
