| Résumé: | Algeria has had solid economic growth during the past decade owing to increasing oil revenues and generally prudent macroeconomic policies, the fiscal and monetary policies adopted since the late 1990s, in the context of increasing hydrocarbon revenues, ensured a decade of robust economic growth while creating a solid financial position with large external reserves, important budgetary savings in an oil stabilization fund, and a substantial reduction in public and external debt levels |
