Abstract

Beside the general consistency in the views of researchers and policy makers about the importance of the little and medium companies, still they face problems to give them an appropriate definition, and specify their signposts and forms. As a result of that, people concerned with that sector encounter many difficulties in what policy should be followed to fulfill the development of the little and medium companies. Through this paper, which is divided into three sections, we aim to answer three questions. The first question is what is meant by little and medium companies? The second is about exploring the development of the little and medium companies in the developing countries and the obstacles they face. Finally, the third section is devoted to discuss the main obstacles that hinder and limit the development of these companies.
