Résumé: Studying English in general, and Business English in particular, is essential for university students in fields of economics, commerce, and management sciences, as it enhances their business vocabulary and communication skills, which are important for both academic success and future career opportunities. Studying Business English enables students to communicate their ideas effectively, which is crucial for writing essays, making presentations, and engaging in classroom discussions. It also familiarizes them with industry-specific language and concepts, enhancing their understanding of course materials and preparing them for internships and future job opportunities. This pedagogical handout is specifically designed for the first-year bachelor’s students of economics at the faculty of economics, commerce, and management sciences, Setif 1 University. It only covers the units that should be taught in the first semester according to the syllabus prescribed by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
