| Résumé: | Macroalgae also called Seaweeds are aquatic photosynthetic organisms mostly found in marine environments. They are essential to marine ecosystems as they form the primary producer. Related on color, Seaweeds include four groups (green algae, red algae, brown algae, bleu green algae) and each group includes a lot of species. In Algeria, the marine environment is very important both ecologically and economically. The precise number of seaweeds found along Algeria's coastline varies greatly, despite the identification of over 400 species. They represent a promising solution in the creation of new alternative bioresources. Cultivated sustainably, Seaweeds could provide economic opportunities by creating new sectors and local jobs, while fostering technological innovation in cultivation and processing practices. We selected three coastal areas in the wilaya of Tipaza in the north of Algeria, known for their diverse marine activities that help us in this work. The methodology of this work is divided into several parts starting with the collect of species, identification of them, the selection of species to work on, washing, drying, grinding, extraction with solvents, purification and the last part is chemical |
