Résumé: | This thesis investigates a static contact problem between an elastic body and a rigid foundation,
governed by a normal compliance law and unilateral constraints. Using the theory of variational
inequalities, we establish the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution. The study also introduces a
dual formulation and analyzes the convergence of solutions with respect to data perturbations. A finite
element approximation is proposed and validated through numerical simulations. Furthermore, an optimal
control problem associated with the contact model is formulated and solved. The results contribute to the
understanding of nonlinear problems in contact mechanics with history-dependent behavior. |
