Résumé: Anorthite (Al2O3-2SiO2-CaO) is known for its chemical stability, high refractoriness, low dielectric constant, thermal shock resistance and moderate mechanical strength. Anorthite is applied in the field of electronics (substrates), electrical insulation, porcelain, light refractory bricks, tiles, elements of non-severe temperature variations, etc. Anorthite is a rare feldspar compound in nature, which has led researchers to find less expensive experimental methods for its production with the preservation of its main physical properties. Several production processes exist to shape these ceramics: - By solid reaction of calcium oxides CaO, aluminum Al2O3 and - SiO2 silicon. - Synthesis based on natural raw materials such as: agile kaolinitic and calcite. - By sol-gel method. Because of its high preparation temperature, boron oxide has been added and results have been obtained, the effect of the addition being it has been observed that boric acid increases the strengths and lacks density and shrinkage, increases mechanical strength, and in the end it causes a drop in temperature of the reaction between the components
