Résumé: Walking, a motor activity performed almost automatically, must simultaneously meet several requirements: propelling the body forward or backward (the main purpose of travel), after a life accident (car, sports, and work) or any other cause (getting older) for most young men. People who have lost lower limbs need a foot prosthesis. Having appeared several thousand years ago, the prosthesis has allowed amputee men to replace a lost limb, and thus to regain some of their abilities or even simply their physique. For years, athletes have been excluded from competitive sports due to a disability, but advances and scientific innovation have led to new solutions to help them. The objective of this thesis is to develop numerical models allowing the quantification of parameters on prosthetic components in the design phase. The finite element modeling process allowed us to determine the best possible design for custom prostheses. The analysis of the simulation results confirmed that this prosthesis can withstand high loads, at the end this work achieved the objectives initially set in the specifications. It is hoped that this study will be followed by a realization in order to benefit from the multiple advantages that this type of prosthesis offers.
