Résumé: Transporting industrial fluids in pipes and measures their speed are needed for most of the operations of production and marketing. As industrial fluids are corrosive or erosive nature can be changed by causing changes in the composition or in the settings of these (temperature, pressure or velocity). For these reasons the fluids affect pipes and instruments for measuring flow rates. In practice, the differential pressure flow meters are subject to considerable pressure that can be exerted elastic deformations and even plastic deformations in case where pressures exceed the allowable stresses of materials flow meters. To transport and distribution of these fluids without great loss of flow measurement devices are needed to minimize these losses. The flow meters are classified according to very different principles, some laboratory equipment (hot wire, laser, Doppler) may provide little flow measurements. This is to make a literature review of different types of existing or marketed flow meters. In a second step, adapting the flow meter in the water channel to permit measurement of flow rate and fluid velocity. Depending on the acquired equipment and the result achieved, there may be provided flow meters that allow the measurement of the speed of solid particles transported by the fluid. In this specification, the experimental tests conducted to measure the flow and the velocity of the fluid are performed with a flow nozzle and a diaphragm and are then compared with the direct method which determines the time of a finite volume. Test results shown the adaptation of the two flow meters into the water channel closed with an acceptable measuring inaccuracy
