Résumé: The output power of a photovoltaic generator depends on many parameters which are the intensity of solar radiation and the temperature of the cells, etc. Due to the non-linear electrical characteristics of photovoltaic cells and their associations the efficiency of PV systems can be improved. The objective of this study is to extract the maximum power from the photovoltaic panels whatever the variation of the external parameters (irradiation and temperature) by using MPPT techniques and this is the importance of the MPPT command.The control techniques most used in MPPT control are reviewed and studied such as perturb and observe (P&O) and Incremental conductance (IC). Matlab-Simulink is used to simulate and interpret the simulation results of these algorithms, and then shows the importance of the MPPT command in a PV system.
