Résumé: | Photovoltaic systems are used in isolated sites and even in towns and cities with peak powers that vary from hundreds to a few MW. But in the vast majority of cases, photovoltaic generators are fixed. The solar energy incident on the cells is not optimal as a function of the time on the one hand and the season, on the other hand therefore the efficiency of a photovoltaic module is quite low (around 15%). This is why we must use the maximum power that they can generate while minimizing the energy losses received from the sun. In order to increase its production of electrical energy, a photovoltaic system must therefore be equipped with a solar tracker or tracker.
