Résumé: | Advances in research have resulted in a new generation of meta-heuristic methods, the advantage of which is that they do not have to worry about the continuity and differentiability of the objective function. The concern in this type of method is the definition of the problem or more precisely its objective function. In this Master 2 thesis, we were interested in Metaheuristic methods which are bio-inspired techniques or not and their applications in optimal design.
We can cite the Harris Hawks algorithm as One of this methods. The (HHO) was developed by Ali Asghar Heidari and his collaborator in 2019. This algorithm is one of the most recent algorithms developed. This algorithm a novel population-based nature, inspired from the cooperative behavior and hunting style of hawks. In this paper, a problem of minimizing the weight of the tension/ compression spring under unequal constraints was modeled. |
