Optimisation de la conception d'un systéme beille-manivelle

Abstract

The work of thesis focuses on the dimensional optimization of an eccentric slider-crank mechanism. It starts with a presentation of the structural optimization technics; the second part concerns the practical part and the optimization process. The objective of this work is to find an optimized dimension of the slider-crank in which the stroke of the slider will be reduced resulting in a reduction of the dimensions of the mechanism. The optimization process starts from the desired values and we try to reach them and to improve them while respecting certain search intervals (constraints). The calculations are performed with the MATLAB tool using the solvers fmincon and GA. The obtained results show that we can succeed in obtaining optimal results and use them to improve the operation of the mechanism
