Résumé: T he landing gear is one of the critical subsystems of an aircraft. The need to design landing gear with minimal weight and volume, high performance, improved lifespan, and reduced life cycle costs has presented numerous challenges to designers and practitioners. Furthermore, it is essential to reduce the design and development time of the landing gear while complying with all regulatory and safety requirements.This work is dedicated to the geometric modeling and numerical simulation of the mechanical behavior of a landing gear. We have demonstrated in our report the entire process required for modeling the mechanical behavior of a landing gear. Prior to conducting the numerical simulation directly, a 3D model of the system was developed using SolidWorks. This model was then imported into Abaqus to generate the mesh, which aims to introduce all the instructions used for the numerical modeling of our model. With this software, we can study the behavior of a system over time, providing insight into what occurs in the real state and showcasing the distribution of stresses.
