Résumé: | This thesis focuses on the study of acousto-optic interaction, which involves the interaction between sound waves and light waves in a specific material known as an acousto-optic material. The work begins with a theoretical analysis of this phenomenon, focusing on the relationship between the position of the diffracted orders and the modulating signal. To ensure the accuracy of the numerical model, a series of experiments was conducted. The thesis is structured into three chapters: the first chapter covers the fundamental physical principles, including various types of diffraction, with particular emphasis on grating diffraction, the second chapter provides an overview of the physical principles underlying acousto-optic interaction. Finally, the third chapter is dedicated to a MATLAB simulation, analyzing the effects of various parameters on this interaction, leading to a deeper understanding of the phenomenon. |
