Résumé: | Abstract
This study explores the application of optical spectroscopies and fluorescence microscopy for detecting microplastics in aquatic environments. Integrating FTIR and UV-Visible spectroscopies with band gap analysis provides insights into microplastic identification and optical properties, despite challenges like water interference and Mie scattering. Fluorescence microscopy enhances detection sensitivity by capturing unique fluorescence signatures of microplastics, overcoming diffraction limits to visualize particles in water samples. Our findings underscore the importance of these techniques in advancing microplastic research, offering efficient tools for monitoring and mitigating environmental pollution. Future efforts should focus on refining methodologies to detect nanoplastics, ensuring comprehensive assessment and management of microplastic contamination in global ecosystems. |
