In general, diabetic patients suffer pain and injury when measuring their blood glucose levels, which can lead to infections and ulcers, and which bother patients because of the numerous times they measure every day, and also the healing of diabetic wounds takes a long time and requires extreme care, as well as the consumption and cost of surgical equipment. In this invention, a non-invasive device uses polarimetric method for measuring blood glucose concentration in the diagnosis and management of diabetes has been invented. Using the Mueller stokes polarimeter as a mathematical tool, this method develops a theoretical and experimental model used to determine the optical rotation which has a direct relationship with the concentration of glucose in human blood. |
