Abstract

The role of strategic vigilance to improve strategic performance in Pharmaceutical industry enterprises - A comparative study between the Algerian and Jordanian enterprises- The main objective of this study is to identify the extent of interest in strategic vigilance in a sample of managers in the pharmaceutical industry enterprises in Algeria ( 123 ) ,and Jordan )178(, and their contribution to improving the strategic performance in this sector, our objective was not limited to the comparison of results in the two samples, or trying to figure out the differences between them; but weighting and interpreting these differences and reach their causes. Through the results, we reached that there are middle levels of strategic vigilance and strategic performance, and a significant role of strategic vigilance in improving the strategic performance in the two samples. The results show a significant differences between levels of strategic vigilance and strategic performance in the two samples, and between the role of strategic vigilance in improving the strategic performance in the two samples weighted in favor of the Jordanian sample.
