Résumé: In the present work we have study the chemical treatment effect on the composites proprieties. Our composites have prepared in the No metallic materials laboratory (LMNM- Sétif). Those are building with the contact molded method under a sandwich form. We have introduced untreated and treated Alfa fiber mat in the resin polyester matrix. The chemical treatment that we have used is alkali treatment with 5% of NaOH during 6 hours. This results show that the chemical treatment have an important effect on the composites mechanical and physical behavior and also on the interface between vegetable fiber and polymeric matrix. 2012-01-01T00:00:00Z
