Titre: Impact des différents systèmes de cultures sur la culture de blé tendre (Triticum aestivum, L), var. HD 1220 en conditions semi-aride
Auteur(s): MEKHLOUF, A.; MAKHLOUF, M.; BOUNECHADA, M.; KEROUGLI, S.; AÏT OUALI, A.

Rate of weaning in the Ouled-Djallel breed sheep

Titre: Rate of weaning in the Ouled-Djallel breed sheep
Auteur(s): Menani; Dekhili; Khilifi
Résumé: Lamb survival of 327 progeny of Ouled-Djellal

ewes was investigated. There was no

difference in survival rate between singles

(88%), twins (80%) and triplets (88%). The

second main effect, sex there was a significant

difference between males (81%) and females

(89%), showing a difference of 8% (P<0.05).

The overall mean lamb survival rate was of

85%. The majority of lamb died (58.8%)

during the first week from non-genetic effect.

It is suggested that nutritional management and absence of care of the ewe was a fault.

Auteur(s): Mouyat, L.; Dekhili, M.; Boulassel, R.
Résumé: This investigation is the first one which has concerned twelve

traits and concerned twenty flocks of sheep located in North of

Setif area of Algeria. Data were analyzed using discriminant

analysis; the aim was to identify the most discriminant traits, rate

of distinction between flocks and to describe morphologically the

flocks under investigation. According to our results, body height

and body length were the most discriminant for the first axis, and

ears form and tail length were discriminant for the second axis.

Flocks were different from each other and the correct

classification for all flocks was 50 %

Titre: Effet insecticide des plantes Melia azedarach L. et Peganum harmala L. sur Tribolium castaneum Herbst (Coleoptera:Tenebrionidae)

Résumé: The main of this work is to evaluate in laboratory conditions, the insecticidal effect of two medicinal plants

Melia azedarach and Peganum harmala on stored grain pest Tribolium castaneum. Three doses of the powder

fruits of these plants were tested 10, 15, and 30%. The results show that the LT50 of larvae and adults varied

between 3.9 days and 5.5 days, with the powder of M. azedarach, 6.8 days and 12.6 days with the powder of P.

harmala respectively. The response of larvae is better than adults, whatever the plant and the dose used. The

fruits of M. Azedarach were more toxic than those of P. harmala
